I'm not an American Idol fan but I do like watching the audition shows because I do get a kick out of them. One thing from last night's night did blow me away. When the final contestant walked out into the hallway with her "golden ticket" to Hollywood and her family errupted into cheers, Simon turned to Randy and Paula and said that there was one thing about this country (America) and that is how people can be so genuinely happy for someone they know when they have something good come there way.

I hope all of my family and friends know how excited and happy I am when something good happens to them.
