Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jog

I have no idea where the saying in the title came from, it's just something my parents have said for as long as I can remember... moving on.

Mike and I just got back from a whirlwind of travel over Christmas and New Years. We left on the 21st and flew to Seattle, WA where Mike's parents picked us up from the airport and we went to a hotel for the night. The next morning, we got up and met Tym and Kristen at Wild Wheat for breakfast. It was so good to see our friends and the area the restaurant was in was so cute!

After breakfast, we headed to an outlet mall on our way to Vancouver to do a little shopping and then headed to Mike's parent's house. We spent most of the week hanging out with Mike's friends and family - including a Christmas Eve movie with two friends and Christmas dinner at his aunt and uncle's house (YUM!)

We left Vancouver on the 27th so that I could work on the 28th and as soon as I got off work, we headed to the beautiful mountains in Red River, NM. We spent the last few days there relaxing, playing cards and watching movies but left out too many outdoor activities as Mike and I both got sick. The sick part wasn't so much fun but I figured if we could survive a trip while sick so early in our marriage, we're in great shape. :-)

Work tomorrow and life will slowly return to normal. We have lots of plans for 2008 including trips, weddings and who knows what else. We're just thankful for each other, for family, friends, health, grace and so much more.
