I learned this morning that a friend from school is missing. She went for a walk last night and didn't come home.

More Projects

Before I cover my projects tonight - make sure you're saying prayers for Stellan. His surgery went as well as could be expected considering the twists and turns they found during the surgery. This battle is far from over for this precious little man but God is watching over him and has blessed him with some incredible prayer warriors!


Tonight was another busy night! Tomorrow is Administrator Day and everyone in my office is bringing some kind of treat so I made Oreo balls.



While those were in the freezer waiting to be dipped in chocolate bark, I went outside and put a fresh coat of paint on our patio set. The set used to be my grandparents and they gave it to us for our house - it's so special to know that it used to be theirs! I did learn a very good lesson - make sure you wear gloves and shoes when you spray paint. You could see the lines from my flip flops on my feet and I'm hoping the black paint will wash off my hands before work tomorrow...





Eventually, I want to get a big red umbrella for the table and it will go on our deck as soon as we get it restained.

Now, I'm enjoying the Canucks vs. Blues hockey game with Mike. I'm not a big hockey fan and even though I'm from STL, I'd rather Vancouver win since Mike is a hockey fan. :-)

The Wall

With the help of my Mom, I finally found something I liked to hang over our couch. I need to work on what's on the shelves (and actually put OUR pictures in two of the frames) but it already makes such a big difference in the room!



The table in my post below will go on the left side of the couch. It's almost all sanded and then it's time to paint/stain! :-)

My new project

I have a new project! (on top of many others I have started and need to finish along with others I have in the back of my mind) :-)

I bought this table from a girl I work with for $15 and it's going next to our couch upstairs. I started sanding the top tonight and I'm going to get some stripper on my way home tomorrow in hopes it makes getting the finish off the legs and the rest of the table a little easier. In the mean time - here's the table!

Christ is Risen

This is the start to the Easter service at my church in STL. I miss this but am so thankful for the small part I got to play in that church and for the huge part it, and the people, had and continue to have on my life.
