Thankful Thursdays

I'm thankful for:

• the hail in the storm we got last night going away before it hit our side of town (thank you God and we are saying lots of prayers for the people who did get hit)
• great coworkers who make work fun
• getting to spend time with friends from college this past weekend

Refinished

After three years of sitting in our garage or office or basement in various stages I FINALLY finished the chair that I brought back from my Poppop's.

It isn't a great chair, and the refinish job isn't perfect, but for my first time doing something like this, I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.

These bows were another recent fun project - I made them for a friend who just welcomed her second little girl.

9 Years

Thank you to the men and women who have fought, do fight, and will fight to keep this great country free and safe.

Smells of the Season

Smells like these are just a small part of why fall is my favorite season.
